Oh, dear browsers…

…can’t you agree on how to display a simple :first-letter with float:left like I used in yesterday’s (German-only) post for the initials?

    Hm, da muss ich leider eingestehen, dass mein Lieblingsbrowser Safari patzt. Aber wer rechnet auf einer Webseite auch mit soviel typographischer Kunst :)

      Immerhin ermöglicht das mir, den Beitrag zu gliedern, ohne mir zusätzliche Überschriften ausdenken zu müssen. :P

      Ich werd mal bei Gelegenheit schauen, ob das eine oder andere zusätzliche CSS-Attribut da noch was hinbiegen kann…

    Der Verlierer ist eindeutig Opera.
    Firefox und Chrome ähneln sich sehr stark. Persönlich finde ich sogar das Ergebnis von Chrome besser.

      Gedacht ist es jedenfalls wie im Firefox. :) Bei Webkit (Safari+Chrome) stört mich der leere Bereich unter dem großen Buchstaben etwas.

    Dies ist wieder das alte Problem mit den Browsern. Was in dem Einem funktioniert und gut aussieht, muss nicht im nächsten Browser gut sein.
