Town hall restoration festival room 1

Reconstruction drafts of the festival room on the 2nd floor in the original design from the 19th century that has been discovered under the white paint; the painted pattern imitates a brocade wallpaper – with too much contrast on the left, but paler on the right.

Originally with white stucco ceiling, plans now include an unobtrusive white ceiling with gaps for machinery and air conditioning – if this is the plan they finally agree on. The previous wooden ceiling (see next picture) doesn’t fit with the red and ochre design, of course.
