Music Quiz 3

Except for the honor, you can win nothing here – I could just paint a little image like the Prinzzess’s rehbus (bottom right corner), if desired –, but I’ll ask you anyway:

Which album title do these pictures represent?

music quiz 3

You can also solve it without recognizing this as an album title, of course – hence the question for the band(s)/person(s) is kinda a bonus.

It it easy or hard? I’m not sure – we shall see… :mrgreen:

Hint after, well, should’ve been 4½h: For the second sub-image, the solution in German is more helpful, the rest is completely English. And don’t hesitate to guess just parts of it…

Hint 2: The first two words of the solution are monosyllabic and rhyme; they also correspond directly to the first two images, whereas the other four words have no 1:1 relation to the images.
And in my first comment here and one at #*%&$1#$ &§$%=! are two more little hints (albeit in German). :)

The solution, guessed by Dee :clap:

“Mad, bad and dangerous to know”

That’s the title of the second album of The Cross (the former solo project of Queen drummer Roger Taylor), of the third album of the British New Wave band Dead Or Alive, as well as a description of Lord Byron.

Composed in the pictures like this:

  1. Mad;
  2. Bad, cf. hint 1: German for bath(room);
  3. and: the little hook is the logic symbol for “and”;
  4. a Dane (well, someone from the Corel photo CD on whose cardboard I’ve painted a Danish flag);
  5. Chair;
  6. Oz, a half of Ozzy;
  7. two who know each other.

Thanks for participating! :thumbsup:

Poll: Men in Thongs

Since there are several visitors interested in men’s thongs/strings or string/thong men showing up here but finding only my Lego joke, I thought I’ll do a serious poll about this topic:

Guys: Do you wear thongs? / Girls: Does your boyfriend/husband wear thongs?

double thong The “Yes” answers are not intended to imply you’re wearing exclusively strings/thongs, occasional thong wearers may (and should) also reply with “yes”.

And for quibblers similar to myself: The answers are verbalized from the men’s point of view; women who want to answer please imagine them re-worded accordingly, referring to your boyfriend/husband…

A baton for the Chrismas tree

A German blog baton…

  • 3 (material) wishes for Christmas
    – an MP3 player (not from Apple ;) )
    – a big, good digital camera
    – a few energy-saving lamps
  • 3 people I would like to celebrate Christmas with
    I’m highlighting the “would” like others before:
    – Freddie Mercury †
    – my grandparents on my mother’s side †† (but better not at the same time as Freddie)
  • 3 people that will receive a present from me
    – my parents (who already know)
    – I won’t name more since they read here, too…
  • 3 people that should catch this baton
    Any non-German-speaker who wants to pick up this translation of mine?

Picture riddle 1

I admit, sometimes I steal copy seize ideas from other bloggers… :mrgreen: (‘cos they’re good!)

This time a little picture quiz: What is this?

Bilderräddsel 1

Yes, alright, it’s an image file showing a slightly blurred clipping from a photo of something. But of what, that is the question. Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer… But I digress. :P Suggestions (for the riddle, not for my digression)? :)

The solution, guessed by juliaL49: a parking garage. :clap:

Specifically, the parking garage of the Neue Messe Stuttgart above the autobahn. Here’s the full photo (from the corridor between the two parts) – the clipping is from the upper right corner:
