Projekt 52 week 6: Song interpretation

The topic of week 6 in Sari’s Projekt 52:

Song interpretation

At first, I had 1½ ideas for Queen songs, but somehow that wasn’t good yet… the alternative was found quickly, though, and this way yesterday’s football match Germany – Austria had something good in it after all:

Week 6: Song interpretation

My photo idea for the slightly ambiguous title “Big Balls” by AC/DC…

He’s got big balls
She’s got big balls
But we’ve got the biggest balls of them all

;)

Apparently too many “singular cases” for the Telekom…

But isn’t the Telekom or its brand T-Mobile pulling out of cycling sponsoring due to doping a bit late? Seems to me like they’re pulling the emergency brake only after the train had derailed long ago. (Maybe they have to concentrate too much on the iPhone, which they are selling exclusively here in Germany. ;) )

Well, so let’s get on with another new beginning, with a new sponsor here and there, with clean cyclists and still doping cyclists, with new cyclists, old cyclists, new coaches and trainers, old coaches and trainers, new doping methods, old doping methods…

:teufel:

Somehow, I doubt that there have been essential improvements recently and that there will be such improvements soon.

More also (in German) on Spiegel, Focus, N24 and many more.

Envious World Cup Final

:applaus: :jubel: :clap:

  • The Brazilians’ envy of the German’s 2:0 victory in the women’s football (soccer) world cup final that has just ended in Shanghai, who could defend their title from 2003 – congratulations!
  • Other goalies’ envy of Nadine Angerer who was able to keep her goal clean throughout the tournament
  • The men’s national team’s envy, maybe, who reached “only” 3rd place last year;
  • The women’s envy, maybe, of the higher audience interest in men’s soccer;
  • And, since “Neid” is the German word for “envy”, of course Silvia Neid, the German coach. :mrgreen:
